Veils - Help!

Kelsie, on August 19, 2019 at 13:55 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 4

Hi everyone!

I have my accessories appointment coming up for my dress and to be totally frank, I have no sense of style whatsoever - I'm a fish out of water when it comes to accessories and the like.

I really do want to wear a veil, especially because I'm getting married in the Catholic Church and my FH's family is big on covering your shoulders but my dress is strapless. So I think I can get away with it if I have a veil. Plus, I only get wear a veil once!

I have some photos of the dress I've bought (but I'm not in them) - what veil would you recommend I look into with my dress? What about a hair clip? Could I get away with jewelry? I just have no idea!

TIA Smiley smile

    Your dress is stunning Kelsie!

Have you already had your accessories appointment?

I personally think that a cathedral veil would look breathtaking with your dress, especially since you are getting married in a church.

Have you decided what you would be most comfortable wearing?

Thanks Tori!! I wasn’t sure whether cathedral would be too dramatic, considering my dress has a lot of detail as you said!

Ill definitely try both styles out - I’ll never know until I see them both!

Hmmmm I would say to get a more simple veil as your dress has so much detail in the lace - but you could go with a veil that is either finger tip length or all out at cathedral length just past your train.
