This is my dress. I am having a really hard time deciding if I should wear a veil or not. And what type of veil.

I struggled SO HARD with 1. whether or not to wear a veil, and 2. what type of veil to wear if I did. Part of my initial decision was based on the fact that I was SO overwhelmed with all the different options that I decided not to wear one at all! But after speaking to one of the girls in my bridal party and a friend of mine who recently got married, I changed my mind. I am getting a birdcage that's quite plain but with a bit of sparkle on the edges. It's very soft and not too much, so I think it will be perfect!

For me, it depends on what you're doing with your hair. I didn't want to cover my hair up, so the birdcage was the best option. You don't have to wear it all night, either. Just for the ceremony and then take it off!

Try a few styles and see what you like the look of, but don't feel like you HAVE to wear one! Get a tiara or pretty comb instead! Or nothing! Or some flowers in your hair... There are lots of options!

If you liked it then go for it. That is what’s most important

I did try one on and liked how it looked but my entourage are split. One liked it the other didn’t. So I’m torn.

    Love the dress!
did you try a veil on to see how it feels?
i did and I didn’t like it. I am not going to be wearing one. My dress feels like it is “enough” plus it’s not some big church wedding or anything.

Does a veil make you feel more complete or bridal? If so, definitely go with one.

With your beautiful dress I would suggest something simple to show it off. I played around with lengths and, for me, floor length was the way to go. That way I didn’t feel like it cut me off to make me look shorter and because the train is longer than the veil, it won’t be trailing behind my dress so the dress is still the highlight.

Play around with them and see what you like!

You look so pretty!! I would say that it's completely up to you whether you wear one or not - but if you do want to wear one then I would go with a fingertip length.
