Veil length?

I agree with a long veil. I think it would look stunning with your dress. I just ordered myself a floor length veil from inmodernlove.com for about $85 with free shipping. I found one in the boutique where I bought my dress and it was around $450... which was definitely out of the question.

I love the look of long veils with simple dresses, especially if you don't have a long train. I would go big for this

I think with a more plain/simple dress, you can definitely go bigger on the veil. I loooove long veils. I have a cathedral length veil that is longer than the train of my dress

You could definitely get away with a long (cathedral) length veil with lace detailing since your dress is on the simpler side!

I think the best lengths to go with would either be one that goes only how long your dress is - not longer though, or one that goes to about the length of your arms. To be on the safe side you could always go into a bridal shop to try them on with the dress and if you plan on ordering online just tell them you have to think about it.

This is the only real bling on it plus a bit of rouching. It's also a halter top or any way you want the straps

I think you're find to go super long with a simple dress! Long with a nice lace edge would look amazing!! I got a short veil but the bottom of my dress is very busy so I didnt want to take away from that!
