Using wedding website to rsvp and select menu

Shannon, on February 27, 2017 at 22:28 Posted in Tech support 0 8

Hi! I'm wondering if there's an option to let guests choose their menu options while RSVP-ing on the wedding website from WeddingWire. I have menu options ready in my wedding planner but they don't show up when I test out the RSVP page... help!!

Oh my wedding email inbox in hella organized!!! It saves my sanity trying to find things later. I have about 16 catergories (RSVPs, accomodations, honeymoon, hair/makeup, dress, etc), it makes things INCREDIBLY easy! I highly recommend breaking everything down.

Glad I could help! Smiley smile

Thanks! I decided to have people comment their choices on their RSVPs so its all done in one step but I don't know where to go to find these comments...how do I find it?

Also, I'm only making paper invitations for the older crowd just for formality's sake, with the URL to the website to RSVP. Do you think that will work? That's why I want everything done in one easy step for their sake.

When they reply you should get an email and it will show their comment. I even made a folder in my inbox for RSVPs so I can keep them for reference. Here's a pic of one of my RSVP's for reference

Hi Shannon! Welcome to the community! Smiley heart The tool that shows up in My Guests does not show on your RSVP page. You can do either of what Chelsea and Valerie suggested for your RSVPs. You can take a look at this discussion to see how you can do this: How To Have Meal Options on Your Website Let me know if you need help with this! Are you also making paper invitations? I just left a note on the RSVP page to ask people to leave a comment (there's a comment option when they RSVP) with any dietary restrictions, but you could always list the menu options and ask people to comment with their choice as well

You will have to make a seperate page and use the survey page to do this I believe. For us we are just doing one meal so we made a menu page and listed the meal and then asked guests to let us know any dietary restrictions, allergies etc when they RSVP. For what you are going for though I am pretty sure you need to make a seperate page by using the survey page!
