Updating a wedding dress

Danicathea, on March 13, 2017 at 07:43 Posted in DIY 0 3

Hello Everyone,

I have my mothers wedding dress, which is very dated. I have already purchased a dress for the wedding. I am thinking about changing my mom's dress into a shorter dress thats off the shoulder to wear at the reherasal dinner/later in the evening of the wedding. Most likely wear it if we do a bonfire later at the wedding. Do you guys think this is a good idea? i would be doing all the alteratins myself? I was going to take the dresss apart anyway to make my brothers somethng out of it.

Thanks Smiley smile

It is a nice idea znd cuts the cost from a second purchase. I have seen some of the material added to the bouquet as a personal touch part of the memory to carry on.
