We've got an uneven bridal party. I've got 4 bridesmaids and a brosmaid, and 4 groomsman. We're just having my brosmaid and a groomsman escort one bridesmaid, so it should pair up properly.

Im having the same! i was gonna have 4 gals with me until one of mine got majorly flaky, got into a bad relationship (when i say bad, i mean BAD AF!) and kept lying to me that she was no longer with him and whatnot...not being one to deal with drama & crap, i kicked her out of the bridal party.

We are having an uneven wedding party, 5 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen I don't see a problem! I've been to a few weddings with an uneven wedding party and there pictures turned out really great!

We are having 4 guys and 3 girls, I don't see it being a problem at all

We had odd numbers: 2 girls on my side and 3 guys on his. It worked out really well and the photos are lovely. No one actually sits there and says "well your numbers aren't even!" when looking at photos. If you don't feel that there is someone close enough and important enough to have up there then don't force it just to have even numbers.

We also have my 12 yrold and his 8year boys as juniors/ringbearer as well as my 9year old girl and his 8 year old girl as flower girls/juniors. He has alot of people he could put in his wedding party but I'm lacking on the friends and my sister in laws are very busy and we just aren't that close. The whole issue arrose when my cousin who was suppose to be my MOH was asked to be MOH for her friend on the exact same day!!!

I just have to say - I'm glad I'm not the only one. I am currently struggling through the same thing. My Finance wants 3 Groomsmen and I only have 2 bridemaids. I was wondering the same thing!

I will have an uneven wedding party. Three ladies and two gents. Our children from other marriages lol. We are older and won’t be having any children together.

I had a constantly evolving wedding party! I had three maids and two jr maids, but my DH's brothers and cousins were basically always swapping in and out as the guys tried to figure out if they could come or not! We had two celebrations (because of being from different countries) so for one we had 5 girls and 3 guys, for the second we had 5 girls and 6 guys (plus a ring bearer, so 6.5 guys, lol!) It worked out just great for us, our photographer made everything look balanced and we were just so glad our nearest and dearest could all be with us

I've seen it done tons of times and it always looks fine. Our wedding party will most-likely be uneven lol. I figure it's better to have the people you want up there as opposed to having someone up there just as filler (to make the numbers even).

You will be fine! Just need to get a bit creative with picture setup we have 5 bridesmaids and 4 groomsmen.

We have 4 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen. The way our venue is set up is stairs leading up to a overhead area where bride, groom and officiant stand. So we will have MOH, Me, My Fiance, Best man and officiant in the middle of course then down the stairs will be groomsmen, bridesmaid, groomsman, bridesmaid, groomsmen, bridesmaid, groomsmen. We aren't having the wedding party dance so we don't have to worry about pairing up. Odd numbers always work out perfectly from what I've seen!

I think you'll be okay with just one person off. People don't think about it too much. I have 4 bridesmaids and 8 groomsmen.... So my photos are going to be a feat for sure... I'm trying not to think about it too much or I may have a nervous breakdown

You can have it go guy/girl alternating, with guys on either end... I'm sure your photographer will have suggestions on how to make it look nice.

My sister-in-law had 4 girls and 8 guys standing in her wedding. There were 5 people on her side and 7 people on the groom's, and the sexes were mixed so she had her 3 brother's standing on her side in addition to 2 of her friends, and her groom had 5 men and his two sisters on his. I think it worked out quite nicely.

For your situation, you could either have two guys walk down the aisle with a girl if you are doing something like that, or you could also have them come in all individually.

In terms of pictures, I think it works out nicely with an odd number because you can get more variety in the photos, with having people interspersed. It can definitely work! Have you looked through some of the weddings here on Weddingwire. I found I got some of my ideas for my bridal party just sifting through some of the couples photos.

We have four bridesmaids and three groomsmen (the bestman is actually his sister). At the start of the ceremony we are having the groom's side already up at the alter. So, just the bridesmaids and myself will walk down the aisle. for the processional, we will do the MOH and BestWoman walking together, Bridesmaid/Groomman, Bridesmaid/Groomsman, Bridesmaid/Junior Usher, who is the Bridesmaid's 13 year old son.

That's our plan.
