Undergarments ?

I’ll have cups inserted in my dress as I have a super low back cut although I’m nervous to see how well the cups hold up the girls. Love it! If you're doing a corset top, I think you could definitely go braless in that. And it looks like it's an A line so you could probably get away with not wearing spanx if you don't want to! Can't wait to hear how your first fitting goes!

Yeah it was actually! And I was a little worried about chaffing without a bra since I was dancing but I was strapped in so it was fine! I just wore spanx shorts. They weren't super intense like some of them can be and they didn't bother me all night. My dress was tight fitting so I just wanted a little extra help to keep everything smooth.

I'm skipping the Spanx... I am who I am and I'm not going to suck it in for like 12+hours! I think it would depend on the dress you have though. if I had more of like a fit and flare then I'd be changing my mind

I am never comforable in them .. and I really want to be as comfortable as I can on my wedding day .... but I also want to look my best

I went braless and it worked! I never thought I would but I had a corset top so it was secure and it was nice not to be pulling up a strapless bra all night. I wore seamless nude panties and spanx shorts. It was definitely sweaty after dancing all night so my husband helped unlace me and then I went and used the washroom (since I made it all night without going!) and then changed into something sexy!

Haha love the frilly fancy panty idea. I think I'll probably be doing the same. That or some lingerie type for the future hubby For the bra, I'm having cups sewn into my dress. My dress does have straps but a bit of an open back, so I think it'll be more comfortable with the cups instead one of those low back bras.

I love the outrageous special panty idea! I was thinking about the garters and hose thing because also when else are white garters appropriate I tried my dresses on with a strapless bra but the consultant seemed to feel that wasn't necssary...I am not sure...I will probably wait and see once my dress comes in how I feel.

My dress is a corset back and even tho it isnt in yet the one i tried on seemed to hold me in pretty darn good .. so jjust adding some cups with the little under pad will give me the umph I need lol

I'm glad we can have this discussion ladies! I did try to talk about bras, but left out the panties part so far. Bra or No Bra? The only thing I can recommend is to make sure they don't show! Which ones were you thinking of wearing?

My dress shop talked about sewing cups in, but I just don't know... I want to have a little "umph" and it seems like it wouldn't work the same as a bra... though I guess I've never owned a tightly fitted corset back dress, so I guess that would hold them in pretty good. Going to have to see after my first fitting for that one.

I think I might get a fancy pair of frilly and outrageous panties- because when else will I wear a dress with enough layers to hide them

As for bra- I might have a struggle. I like to feel secure....but I want a backless dress!!! AHHH. But I'm sure the style gurus at salons will know what to do
