    I went through this! We were engaged for 7 years before we finally set a date!! 7!

    then we had a little surprise baby, and we pushed everything out by a year but when we were always asked when we planned on getting married we just said we haven't given it much thought yet & wanted to get ourselves established before a wedding so we could do it the way we wanted.
