Two piece dress?

Has anyone done a two piece wedding dress and then changed the bottom portion for the reception? We're doing it outdoor so would like to have a shorter option for after the ceremony/dinner.

    Yeah I think so unless they're excessive. Also I am 5 months pregnant currently and due in June of this year (wedding will be 2018) so of course that's contingent on how quickly I'm able to drop the baby weight.
    I was also thinking of having my "party" skirt as my MOH dress colour and keep the white top on. Just a random thought as I've been far more interested in their dresses than my own. I love the colour choices.

    Ohhhh I hadn't thought about it! Was a random thought I had since I'm not really a pomp and frills kind of girl. Want something simple and sexy. There was a nice crop top dress that showed about an inch of midriff with a high rise long skirt that I liked but it was about 3000 lol. Doing a bbq outside wedding thats half our budget. Not sure where to start looking for alternatives though.
