Two in one dress. Yes or No?

Emilie, on November 6, 2016 at 13:05 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 11

Hey wonderful brides Smiley heart

A long dress might be perfect for the ceremony but if you might miss some freedom on the dance floor for your favourite moves. What about a two in one dress?

One of my friends had a two for one and it worked out really well for the dancing part with bonus of easier to go to the bathroom.

As for me, I couldn't find one that I liked. Either I liked it when the long skirt was on and not the short dress or it was the other way around.

When I was a little girl I used to this idea very much (did it all the time with Barbie Smiley smile) but now that I have decided to have a late September outdoor wedding I don't think a short dress would work. I still like the idea though at the right time of year for the right person.

I had no idea this existed and was thinking it would be an awesome idea. Not sure if I'll do it or not though.

Hi Rosalie! Welcome to the community!! Smiley heart

I love your name! It's so beautiful!! Will you have that option for your wedding too? What dresses have you been looking at? Are they short or long? Smiley smile

HAHA some junk about it being cool for people that want the best of both but my April wedding will be too cold for a short dress... It was really less exciting than I made it out to be Smiley winking

Cute concept, but not my style (I had a long thoughtful response and then WW glitched and deleted it.... so this is the abridged version)

I love the idea of two dresses in one. It would have been great if I could have found one with my budget but I'm really happy with the dress I found! I thought about getting a different reception dress but you put so much into the wedding dress and you only get to wear it for so long so I'm sticking with one dress.

I do like the idea of two in one dress. However, I still like to wear only one dress for my wedding!Smiley smile

I do like the concept, however I like just having my one dress and I will just get the bustle added on so train I am not stepping on my train the entire night. I was just at a bridal show today in Bowmanville and there was a fashion show and one of the girls had a second piece to her dress and I actually liked the dress better without it. So for my wedding I would say no!
