Tweed suits for men!

kristen, on January 5, 2019 at 20:47 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 4
Hi there! We’re in the very early stages of planning our 2020 fall wedding and since I’ve been browsing wedding dresses I might as well look at some suits. Pinterest is filled with gorgeous photos, but where on earth would I find a tweed suit - or a suit that’s not your typical black or grey satin? We live in the Okanagan, and I’m not sure where to start looking!

See if you have any custom suit shops around because they will have different fabrics.
My FH has his heart set on a brown suit, and here in Halifax there is a company called modern suiting that have a brown tweed fabric that he's in love with so he's going custom

I would go to men's suit shops/formal wear stores in your area and ask if they have tweed suits! I've seen them around so they got to be sold somewhere!

My hubby is looking at this suit but hasn't decided for sure yet. I'm all for it if he goes with a navy vest to tie in with the groomsmen and jts just too busy with that much plaid in my opinion!

This one is through Derks formalwear in edmonton but they distribute to lots of smaller local stores from what I can tell. I live in a small town on the sunshine coast and that's where we found itSmiley smile https://derksformals.com/catalogue/

I'm not sure that stores would have it just based on a quick google search - but of course try calling a couple local suit stores like Moore's and Big & Tall or whatnot. If not, I don't think it would be too bad to consider ordering online. I know that altering a dress to fit you after you order a size is complicated sometimes but for my FH he just needs to be measured properly and can order online no problems!!
