Tweaking wedding dress?

Beah, on January 2, 2020 at 19:17 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 7
I found 2 dresses I really like the style and everything of but I really wanted to have a sparkly top on my wedding dress all the ones I’ve found are lace on the top is there a way I can sew or glue my own rhinestones and sequins? Or anything else I can do to add a sparkle to the dress? I’ll keep looking for others but these two I found are a really good price as we are on a small budget

I think custom made would be expensive!! I think I’ll look around more and if I don’t find anything I’ll just go with the lace

Can you get it custom made? or can you get a shirt from urban planet and then have some sparklies added to it?

It all depends on the fabric you’re working with on your dress. I’d definitely ask a seamstress about their opinion (now they’ll probably quote you the work and it may be expensive because it’s all hand-done) but you can get an idea.
I agree with Amelia though, if you are fixed to a budget, adding bling through belts and clips might be easier.

That’s my fear is ruining the dress! I’ll have to ask our local seamstress about it.

I would be wary of adding them yourself only because if you're unhappy with how it turns out you're stuck, but a seamstress should be able to add some sequins, beads, or rhinestones.

An easier option would be a belt, or a blingy veil.
