Hey hey everyone!

I hope everyone is keeping well!

COVID may be sticking around longer than we thought but it definitely will not stop our planning!

We got our postponement cards in the mail yesterday, so we are going to be working on addressing them and sending them out to guests to let them know the new wedding day.

What is everyone working on next?! Has anyone ordered postponement cards?

We are still hoping for our wedding in October! I had been in a do nothing limbo state since mid March - hesitant to do anything and just feeling all around down about it. But now that things are looking a bit better, I am slowly getting back to my to do list. Even if we have to postpone, its just less I will have to do next year haha.

So most importantly is B-Maid shopping on June 14th. We had a date set for March 23rd which got cancelled obviously so we have re booked and are hoping to have that settled. I had our invites sealed and stamped, ready to go for April 11th but instead have kept them by our entryway so will look at sending those out in the next month (if we go ahead).

Outside of that just doing some decor/misc item shopping and then will REV way back up once we know more in July!

I'm so sorry you had to postpone - it was a bitter pill for us to swallow...but we decided this was what would be best for us.

I did find a sense of relief once we postponed..and I'm sure I'll get excited next year when we send out invites again.

Ugh I'm so sorry you had headaches with your vendors. They really should be easy peasy and dealing with clients appropriately due to COVID - after all, this is no one's fault!

We will have to design entirely new invites - ours went out at the end of February...and of course, many had replied. So we will have to re-do those but this time I'm going to use a website - zazzle or minted so we'll see how those turn out LOL.

I have my fingers crossed for you! We were so sad to postpone our date but it became inevitable to us that our wedding wouldn't happen Smiley sad

I hope you get your perfect day!

We moved our wedding to two weeks after you!

Like you said, COVID is definitely here to stay for a while still, so I’m crossing my fingers it’s all settled by next summer 🤞🏼 I’m optimistic it will be!
We didn’t order any postponement cards, we just emailed everyone, called, texted, basically used social media. We will just send new invites next year Smiley smile currently put all our wedding stuff away, will probably revisit it spring of next year.

We've got all our vendors successfully postponed after a two week long headache.

And we're going to be sending out entirely new invitations because we hadn't send out most of them before the pandemic hit. I've designed a new one thats slightly different so that the people who do already have the original invitation don't get them confused.

We’ve been perusing postponement cards just in case but are trying to remain hopeful.
We actually have a telephone meeting with our venue next week to solidify our details. It’s all coming together!
