Trendy or Timeless? What's your dress style?

Is your wedding dress more trendy or timeless? What were you thinking about when picking your dress? Did you want something new and different, or a timeless and classic gown? 👰

Haven't bought or found it yet. All the ideas I have been gathering seem to hit a mix.

Mine has a really beaded bodice and a simple a-line skirt so it's probably a mix of both!

I think mine is a bit more timeless. Very simple, a-line with some layers of lace.

I went there for my bridesmaids dresses! I agree, they were very helpful.

Honestly, I had planned on a dress with tulle, pink or blush, and ruched top. I tried this satin, simple, a-line one bcs it was the only "retroish" dress style they had. I then tried the pink tulle afterwards and it felt like a high school, silly, prom dress. Shocked at my change of heart for style! I could not believe how beautifully the first dress fit, it was elegant, sexy but demure (you can add in a piece that covers the cleavage more and then remove it after the church ceremony, if you need to), and had pockets-yay lipbalm and ginger chews for nausea nerves, close by! I was shocked that I liked the satin so much, when previously it was a huge no-no on my bridal gown materials list. Even the sales woman noticed that I looked more bridal in it and I truly felt confident, beautiful, and like it was made for me. It is such a kind fit for a curvy body, you will feel lovely in it. Bonus, on me it did not need any alterations but my waist is small and hips and booty are luscious, a-line ready. Bahaha.

Thank you, go to David's bridal. There's specials all the time and the people who worked there were so nice.

I think mine is a mix of both. It is a fitted dress with lace overlay and high slits in the leg and cutouts under the arms and an illusion back. You can get it in different colour combinations but I chose the classic ivory on ivory.

I'm all about timeless! I chose an A-line dress with a silk top and a lace bottom. Loved it!

Mine's definitely timeless. Actually looks quite similar to the one pictured - sweetheart neckline, lace, and fit/flare.

I have chosen a classy timeless, elegant look with simple lines and a modern touch. I adore retro style dresses and clothes, I find those styles look best on a woman's body shape, flatter, along with being comfortable and stylishly versatile. My main goal was to be able to look back on my wedding pictures 20 years from now and still feel the dress will stand the test of time. Bonus, it dropped down from almost $900 to $500!

I guess mine's a bit of both. Strapless sweetheart, trumpet, with all over beading (mix of crystal and pearl)... modern look/twist, but classic look.

Mine is both, timeless because it's A line and has a lace bodice with a nude underlay and classic buttons down back and trendy because there's a high slit in it (beach wedding)

I am doing more of a timeless dress 😊 it's a lace dress that looks like my grandmas dress from the 70s so that makes it timeless right?

Mine is a bit of both. Trendy because it's champagne colour and has an illusion neckline. Timeless because of lace and has a classic look to it.

Trendy? Because it’s mermaid style? Lol. When I think timeless, I always think lace or beading for some reason? 😂
