Thanks Paige! If it didn't turn out as well as it did, I'd probably dye back to my natural and call it a day. Chocolate brown is a timeless choice too and I bet you are excited to reach your hair goals! I'm thinking of doing plum after the wedding - it'll be really vibrant after the blonde!

So pretty! You’re so brave to do such a drastic change for the wedding. I couldn’t do it. I just had my first session of just stripping the hair color from my hair (I had box dye black 😬). Next session is April 23 to dye it the chocolate brown I want and a final touch up June 6! So excited to have pretty hair again lol. I’ve been growing out the hair dye for about a year and a half so it’s looked awful pretty much the whole time. I too wanted a natural looking color, I felt black was a touch harsh and was too scared to do anything light. I debated a plum of some sort but I think a rich chocolate brown will stand the test of time. Can’t wait to see your final results!

I'm pretty close already, but I'm more coppery/caramel-y with the red I had previously. My stylist told me that since we are going from dyed red to blonde, it'll take a bit to get the final result.

Thanks Bianca! Honestly, the red didn't really go with my wedding colours IMO so I looked into switching it up. I've wanted to go the blonde route for a while too, and saw this as my opportunity!

I love the light on you. I also changed mine for the wedding.. I am usually rocking a little mermaid red which I love.. but I thought I wanted a more natural look as I will be looking at these pictures forever. My hair colour changes often so it will always be different but still. I went back to my natural dark brown and I might do some low lights just to lighten it up a bit closer to the date.

WOW! That's such a big and beautiful change! What inspired you to go blonde for the wedding if you've been red for so many years? I recently (8 weeks ago) went from natural brown to a blonde balayage and I was so nervous! I'm happy with the results but it was a big change!

Oh the joys of the dying process from dark to light lol takes so much time but so worth the final look! I'm excited to see it!!

Thanks Gina! I also had really good lighting with the photo of my blonde hair (the red hair was taken in my bathroom - not the best) so my eyes really popped! Plus, I'm wearing makeup lol. I started out dyeing my hair with just blonde highlights, then the blonde went red, then I started dyeing an overall red colour!

I love your hair more blond! It really makes your eyes pop! My hair is brown, so I get it highlighted blond. It allows me to look blond but not have to upkeep as much. Balayage is my fav, but I have a lot of grey, so highlighting helps hide it as my hair grows. Lol. I’m getting our 3 older daughters balayage for the wedding.

I have dyed my hair in the past with stuff that fades out so my hair is at its natural colour right now and im growing it out! but yeah after the big day is over I want to try something new

My hairstylist and I had a game plan since I got engaged for the wedding hair colour lol! Otherwise, I'd be more hesitant lol. I've also been dyeing my hair for nearly 10 years now so I know the commitment to it.

Side note: if you've haven't dyed your hair before, it's way easier to go blonde with virgin hair. Going from dyed red to blonde is the tricky part!

Gorgeous!!! Im not brave enough to change my hair colour before the wedding.. haha! I will be keeping it my natural colour and then after the wedding we are having our honeymoon in montreal and I think I will dye my hair while we are there! I want to try blonde as well

I'm naturally a dark brunette so this is a step more towards my natural colour. I wanted to be lighter at the wedding/closer to my natural than the red so it's a step in the right direction!

I think you'd look great as a blonde (and your natural colour too!) IMO

I'm trying to get my hair to be long and natural for the big day but the very first chance I get I'm going blonde!! If I don't get good reviews as a blonde I will try a couple other colours though
