Too much, I don't want anything to be distracting.

I love this! If it were in the budget, my backdrop would be even more dramatic!

Some venues do look based on their space provided and height.

It is beautiful depending on your venue/ceremony space.

we are not doing ANYTHING to our ceremony space. we are only there for less than an hour. and it has high ceilings. with thin long windows.
not worth the cost do it.

if we were doing out ceremony and reception in the same venue. then maybe I would look into it (or would use the backdrop that we have at our reception).

I like these but for us we’ll just be doing the windows that look out over the mountain tops

Love love love! We have a beautiful fireplace, florals and a chuppah that was built as a joint project between both our families. I really can't wait for how great its going to look.

The dramatic ones are definitely too much. But you can get big and beautiful ones that are definitely not too much. We don't need a ceremony backdrop because of the natural beauty of the venue luckily.

I agree with Casey here, it depends on the venue/location. Our venue has a pergola for their ceremonies, so we might just add a piece of flowy fabric and a few leaves, but nothing major.

This would depend on the ceremony location. My venue just redid one of their ceremony locations and it is beautiful, so I don't want anything extra because it is beautiful on its own

I would so much rather have that first backdrop than just fairy lights...

Not sure how dramatic it is but we will have an alter with linens for our ceremony so liking this trend!
