Tips for a Wedding out of Town??

SooOo our wedding is now moving from our own backyard to a town 2 hours away and a very gracious friend of ours. We don't know this family all too well but they have been so forward with the invite and insisting without us asking at all. To be honest their property is 100,000 times better then the one we rent on. How much should I plan to do for them as a thank you other then providing free alcohol for them? They don't want anything, but I definitely want to do something for them.

And also any tips?

100 Guests,

my mom and 2 friends are doing the food. buffet style, leftovers for breakfast for the people staying in tents there over night.

traveling with that amount of food...

    I would suggest a nice gift card for them to go out for dinner and a movie and then a thank you card for their generosity.

    If it's a couple who's house you're going to maybe get them a nice weekend trip away! Only advise I would give is to make sure they dont do too much work as they are already offering their space! Make sure when the wedding is over their place is SPOTLESS!
