Tipping advice for hair/makeup

When I get my hair done I always tip.

Both the hairstyles and makeup artist are coming to the hotel.
The hairstyles is adding a $70 travel fee The makeup artist is adding a travel fee and $15 for each application.
The $70 travel fee seems high cause it's just one part of town to the other part of town. And its not a big city like Toronto.
So I'm wondering if I'm still supposed to tip on top of all that?

    You can choose to tip the hairstylist and make up artist though its not for opt to do if you're budget tight.
    A Thank you card is suffice to give with a personal message to them.

    Hello Tracey,
    You have to think about your budget too and if it’s in or going over. If they did an amazing job, you can tip. But again, you’re paying them for a job. I personally believe that tipping is personal, if you want to, you do it.

    One of my bridesmaids is making the appointments. Hairstyles just does hair out of her house. And I'm not sure about the other.

    Are they independent stylists or work for a larger company? If indepedent, I would tip if their service is exceptional; if they work for a larger company, yes you should tip as those fees don't go directly to them. Definitely leave a Google review either way - many say they appreciate that more than a tip!
