When did you all send out save the dates?! I’m stressing because we haven’t sent them yet and we’re basically a year away! (October 3, 2020)

i want to to use our engagement photos (with my dog in this bandanna😅) for the Save the Dates but we haven’t been able to get them done yet.. it was booked for thanksgiving weekend but now I may be gone for work training and have to reschedule it so we wouldn’t be able to send them out until even later now (maybe mid November?) 😔

Am I stressing for nothing or am I behind on this? When did you send yours out?!

    Our wedding is on Sept 2020, and thinking to send the dates at the end of 2019 Smiley smile we have a sizeable out of country guests. Also had our little pup join us in our engagement photos too! So worth it, very cute results!! Smiley laugh

    Id say 7-9 months. Interestingly, I have a couple friends who are not sending save the dates because they are tight with their guest list numbers. If you are looking to reduce your numbers, don't send save the dates to everyone. Something to think about!

    I sent out my save the dates 6 months before the wedding day because we had a lot of family from out of town.

    I do think that save the dates were a waste of money because everyone called, text, and/or emailed us asking about details anyway.

    We haven't sent our save the dates either, and our wedding is in September of 2020. Don't worry I'm the same way, I'm OCD on everything and I as well feel that I'm falling behind. My fiance thinks I'm crazy to plan so many things so in advanced.

    Were getting married August 28, 2020 and having sent any out yet. We’ve just been telling everyone that’s invited by word of now and also telling them a proper save the date will arrive. Don’t stress you’re good right now.

    Agreed! I like to be very organized and planned out FAR in advance haha
    People keep saying "you have lots of time," but I feel like its just going to fly by and I'm going to forget something. Doesn't help that my better half likes to fly by the seat of his pants!

    Man I’m such a control freak so waiting stresses me ouuut! I think we will have them done by Christmas so we can give some out in person to save on postage (such a smart suggestion by other ppl here!!) & then mail the rest Smiley smile

    We are October 3rd, 2020 as well!

    Haven't sent ours out either or even ordered them. As we also wanted to use our recent engagement photos. The plan is to order them in late November and sending them out in January 2020. Wait and use the the photo you want, it sounds super cute!

    Youre still early with save the dates and since your wedding is in oct a lot of people wont be at cottages, summer road trips etc.

    Don’t worry! We are getting married September 2020 and will be sending the save the dates in November - we are going to hand many of them out at our engagement party to save on postage! If you’re worried about people booking up you can circulate your date by word of mouth first, as long as people are clear on who is invited!

    I'm also getting married October 3, 2020!

    I have my Save-The-Dates in hand, but have not yet sent them out! Any day! We're still awaiting a few addresses. We don't want to send them out at different times just in case people get upset that some got before others.

    I agree with everyone's comments that there's a lot of time!

    Can you believe the one year mark is so soon?!?!? Smiley xd

    I'm getting married October 3rd 2020 too! I wasn't going to send mine out until November/December depending on when I get my engagement pictures back. No need to stress! you still have time

    Dont stress at all! You have tons of time!

    I sent mine out around Christmas time last year for our wedding. Whoever I didn't see at Christmas had them mailed after the holidays. Keep an eye out for sales too depending on where you are getting them printed! I had mine done during black friday last year and got a wicked deal from Vistaprint!

    We just got our engagement photos done at the end of August and now I'm waiting for deals from Vistaprint before we order ours. The goal is to get them out before the end of the year, which leaves over 9 months before the wedding. Invites will then go out in May-ish.

    I sent mine out in January - 9 months before the wedding. Most people send them out 8-12 months ahead of time, so don't worry too much!

    Don’t worry! I don’t think you’re behind. We send ours it in early April which is 9 months before the wedding.
