Themed weddings

Omg that sounds crazy! How did you make the book?Will absolutely post photos!

As I gather things I'll put up pics. But honestly my wedding is so far away I don't have much yet.

I'll definitely post pictures! I actually had to make the giant book though, couldn't find any as big as i needed haha. Can't wait to see photos of your wedding as well!

We're using the blue and gold with small touches of red and silver. My dress looks like Belle's but simple and white. For centerpieces, a couple blue books, a red rose, and some rose petals. The enchanted rose for a cake topper, teacups with red rose tea for favors. And tables named after characters instead of numbers

Pages folded into roses is such a cost effective way to do bouquets! And you can personalize them as much as possible. I love it!

He suggested, of his own volition, Beauty and the Beast as a theme, so I think that's what we'll end up with, on the subtle side. Dusty blue and cranberry, with gold sequins. We are doing a book themed wedding, having the tables named after Harry Potter books, book page roses for the bouquets.

I did haha for a while... But I had no choice so I sniffled up and picked a new venue. The venue I have now is awesome though as well so... Not too bad.

Oh my gosh! I wanted to do almost exactly this! Although I wasn't imaginative enough for your table of contents idea which I think is super cool. Please please please post pictures, I'd love to see it! So jelly right now haha

Those were our original colours as well until the venue had to change!

We're having a literary themed wedding, but they're subtle touches. Our centrepieces will be made of books, our seating chart is going to be a huge book open at the table of contents-where everyone's names will be under chapter #s. We've got roses made of book pages and floating candles above our sweetheart table (a nod to Harry Potter-which I'm obsessed with aha)

I am doing a theme for the reception. Kingdom Hearts theme. Its a video game that has disney in it! (we are both gamers and artists) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pXw745KA0Y I am doing my own DIY centerpieces of and each table will be a different disney world like: little mermaid, nightmare before christmas, alice in wonderland etc. The seating chart will be world base! i am super excited to start making them!!

We didn't really pick a theme, but based off of our colour scheme, it sort of turned into this royal elegant wedding. The colours are purple with gold accents.

Thanks for the feedback! I'll post some pictures when I get the chance. I have three favorite themes: winter wonderland, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and beach/little mermaid. A quaint little-town carnival theme is super cute too (think music video to Made in The USA by Demi Lovato). Minus the Buffy theme, these were all plan B's for us

That's amazing my fiance is a huge starwars fan and he appreciates your head table sounds like a blast, for sure!

Nothing is set in stone right now but they are named after the 4 houses of Hogwarts, the 4 Ninja Turtles, Teen Titan (mostly slightly younger relatives/friends), the Avengers and our table is the Millenium Falcon.

I wish I would have gotten a wedding planner haha too rich for my blood, unfortunately. Sounds like it's coming along!

Actually, My Planner is costing me 500.00 for what I want.. which is a great price since all the other was quoting me in the 1000's. High Gloss Weddings is my Planner, they are great and travel as well. You set the price and if they can work within that price it's great, so much less stress as well.
