personally i hate name cards and attempting to find my name (unless at a small wedding). i'm all about the large sign in a frame with names listed alphabetically by last name and table number beside their name.

I am doing rustic, and I'm using wine corks for place cards

I think assigned seating is a good idea. That being said, here are some of the things we are doing with wine bottles/ products at our wedding in june! We made these table number holders this past summer and they were super easy and fun to do! The wine bottles in the centerpiece will be clear and have fairy lights. We had about 300 corks just lying around so we wanted to out them to good use my hubby has spent much of his life working in ubrews abd making his own beer and wine at home!

I also found this head piece and fell in love with it at the bridal store where I got my dress. I love it because it looks like grape vines 💜

Love this idea! For tables its probably easier to have a chart but the cork name tags would be so cute. I also love the idea of naming the tables after different wines. For favours if you wanted to stay with the theme you could do custom silicone wine toppers or wine glasses. I don't think favours need to match your theme though you could do the seed packets (that's what we are doing) something so simple but adorable! We are doing something like this at our wedding but I think I found a cuter basket at Micheal's.

If you have round tables, you could assign guests to a table but not a specific seat. Stemless glasses could be used for drinks other than wine, so I think that would be a great favor!

Personally I prefer to have assigned seating to avoid any close family or friends sitting in the back - which is why I would suggest that you use the corks as name card holders but put their name as well as their table on it. You would just have a table with everybody's name in alphabetical order that they would be able to pick up and take to their table and from there they can choose which seat out of that they want.

For favours I like the idea Robyn suggested. Of course I would make it so that they are stemless wine glasses! Another idea would be a corkscrew. I always lose mine!! (One that could be put on a keychain - nothing too big or fancy.)

If you do go with the other favour ideas that you have I'm sure the guests wouldn't be upset with chocolate or seeds because it isn't related to your wine theme

That's a good idea but some of my guests dont drink ever so they may get thrown out or collect dust. I was thinking something useful maybe.

First of all, I love this theme! I like the idea of naming the tables after wine, and I think the corks as name cards is awesome. I personally would prefer to pick the seats. For a favor that touches on the theme, maybe a wine glass etched with the date of the wedding and you & your FH's initials? You can do your own glass etching really easily, and bulk wine glasses aren't too pricey
