The pre-plan portfolio

Erin, on December 11, 2019 at 11:01 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 17
So I've gathered up a portfolio of all my local venues, catering companies and other such valuable information. I have pamphlets out the wazoo haha so here I am trying to put it all to use when oops I realize that I have misplaced some very important information. Where to get invitations made. Any brilliant ideas on places that do invitations? Has anyone used Vista print or something similar? How are they????

    Kelsie,
Thank you so much this is great to know because we have to have pretty close to 200 of everything designed and printed. Haha no small feat and trying to find the best bang for our buck so to speak.

Shannon, thank you so much for the information!!! Smiley smile I really appreciate it. I have a lot of things still to be designed and printed off ie: the save the dates, announcements, invitations.... So having as much info as possible is a huge help especially for the fact that we have a lot of people to mail all this to.

    Hi Erin,

With Vista print and Shutterfly you can request a free wedding sample kit. It comes in the mail with in a couple days.

With that being said, I have used Vista print for my save the dates. Everything went great from arriving on time to no printing mistakes. Its quick and user friendly.

Ok! Got my bridal shower invites yesterday and LOVE THEM! I used Zazzle and I think they’re amazing quality.

I used a template that was totally customizable. It was really easy. I think I got 60% off plus 20% off this past weekend. They also come with envelopes.
I ordered them Sunday afternoon and I received them thursday afternoon. Overall pretty quick!

Vistaprint is my place of all order for things to order throughout the year. Invitations to Thank you cards/Menu cards was the choice with excellent outcome. I recommend it and wait for the half off sale to save on the cost.

    Vista print was amazing imo!

We (I) used a template but then made some changes like adding more text boxes and some pictures of flowers to make it unique and not just the standard looking invite and it looked great. Lots of others I know that used Vista Print for theirs said that they didn't see mine as an option because I changed it up to look different Smiley tongue

I almost used Vistaprint because they're so highly recommended and they have great sales, and a great selection of customizable templates, too! Right now they've got a 50% off deal. But in the end I made them from scratch and printed them myself and everything, just had to order the envelopes I wanted so all in all the cost was like $40.

I used Vistaprint for Save the Dates and they were great. There are so many preset designs to choose from and they are all very customizable. They also have sales very frequently so they are a very cost effective choice.

I've heard from some people that Minted.com is good too. They are a little more expensive and a bit less customizable I think though.

I personally ordered my invites online from Invitations by Dawn and we love them so much. They have a lot of designs and with them you can get folded invitations and ones with pockets and ribbons and rhinestones and such.
