The dress

Sarah, on December 7, 2019 at 19:11 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 7

So i know that i picked the best possible dress and i am so unbelievably happy with it for comfort elegance and just overall feeling priceless! But how many of you after getting your dress still feel the need to shield your eyes from other dresses. i feel like if im not careful i could end up with more than one!!

I think I need to unfollow the davids bridal instagram account because I keep seeing a dress that I had wanted to try on but wasn't out at the time that I found my dress haha.

I love my dress so much, it's definitely perfect and waaayyy better than the one that wasn't out yet but I wasn't expecting to find my dress at the first appointment so I already kind of miss shopping. And now I'm itching to take my bridesmaids looking for their dresses to fill that dress shopping void

I find it to be a case of the grass is greener on the other side. You will see something that you think is better and greatly regret it having just wasted time and money.

I bought my dress recently, it ended up being completely different than what I thought I would get.

I definitely find myself looking back at the pictures I had before and wondering lol

I did end up with more than one! I bought my dress online and bought a few so I could pick the best one (they were each between $150 and $280). I ended up selling the ones I didn't wear on facebook. But I hear you, it is hard to pick just one!

I fell in love with two, one I bought and one I couldn't afford. For a few weeks after I kept going back to photos of me in the unattainable dress wondering if I made a mistake.

The dress I bought is the right choice for so many reasons. It was under budget (yay!), so much more "me", and fits more with our venue.
I kept one photo of me in the almost dress for nostalgia, but I barely look at it now that I've seen myself in my dress again! I had a fitting today and I fall in love with it a little more every time!
Now if I look at any dresses on Pinterest it's ones like mine to see how they did hair or what accessories the bride wore with it.

After I picked my dress I just stopped checking them. Like at all. I didn't check online, I didn't go to stores, but at the same time I don't try my dress on at home so that I don't get too used to it and it still feels new and special on the wedding day. But I bought it like 3 months before wedding and I'm too busy with other things to go to stores again. Though I still have to go with my mom and sis to find dresses for them, but I know it will be about them and I don't even want to look though wedding dresses Smiley smile
