The Bossy Mother-in-Law

My FMIL and I get along for the most part. Lately we have been having a few disagreements, mostly about the seating plan which I am already super stressed about, and it's been putting stress on the relationship. I just hope she gets over this before the wedding.

I'm a bit removed from my mother in law. She's absolutely awesome and helpful and charismatic all the time, I just feel like I don't have much time to talk to her. Feel kinda bad now that I think about it..

My FMIL is awesome. Other than the random drama we have to deal with from her daughter she has been pretty great.

My FMIL is great! Very nice and helpful and hasn't made any fuss about the wedding at all. She just wants it to be perfect for us.

My MIL and I are close... She has been a huge help for the wedding... She treats me as if I were her own.

So far none at all with my MIL

No issues with my MIL. She is happy that after 6.5 years, we are going to be married next moth. She also had a really bad stroke a few years ago and is paralyzed on her right side and can't talk that well so she doesn't really say too much when it comes to the wedding except that she needs something to wear haha!

No problems at all with my future MIL. She's just happy that after 6 years of dating, her son is finally getting married for the first time at the age of 59!

No issues! She hasn't insisted on the guest list in any way. She does want the wedding to look or be a certain way because she wants the best for us but it likely won't fulfill her vision due to budget constraints. What can you do!
