Thankful we did things early...

We did everything early as well, booked all major vendors over a yr in advance.

Wedding bands were won from a bridal expo so we already have those as well.

Ugh People's jewelers are the worst. We had so many issues with my rings. We will never purchase from there again.

We are doing everything early as well, we are just over a year away from our wedding and have most of it planned. It's great! Now I can kick back and relax while I do all the fun stuff like the parties, dress shopping and food tasting

I knew how early vendors booked up for weddings, and still didn't move early enough for some of them! The top choice band I wanted I called 12 months before my wedding and they just about laughed at me and said they're booked for the next like 3 years!

I agree - Spence all the way! My FH bought my wedding set there, and we're buying his band there. He was very impressed that they treated him very, very well despite showing up in ratty shorts and a t-shirt, and they took lots of time to talk about all his options - they even let him into the diamond vault to look at all the solitaires so he could pick his own!

We had a consultation at Spence and they were awesome - would definitely recommend them. We ended up getting my FH's ring on Amazon - they had a platinum ring listed at almost half of what we were being quoted from jewelers. He just wanted something classic, so it worked great.

There are a few jewelers local to us i think we are going to check out , they all have really good reputations !

We got all our rings from Spence Diamonds. They were amazing. Fantastic customer service and the rings always came in earlier than what was estimated. I can't recommend them enough. We went to the Scarborough location in Toronto.

Thank goodness you found out when you did! Where do you think you're going to go look for his wedding band now?

Really poor communication on their part, but at least you have loads of time! I'm sure you can find his ring elsewhere where you'll get better service.

I agree ! they should keep you updated ! we were surprised they hadn't told us sooner, they said the ring took 10 weeks to get in , we went in , in January to pick up my band, and had asked about his while we were there, they just told us they didn't see it so it probably wasn't in.... i feel like by then they would have known it wasn't going to get made at all ! I don't think we will be returning to them to find another band for him....

That's great you found out earlier than later. My fiance bought our rings all together at people's. They were late with sizing and we had to call multiple times to see if they were in. So i think we're never going back there as i feel like that was there responsibility to tell us it's in.
