    False. They are both different based on the timing of wedding.

    Marriage license is for the wedding day.

    Marriage certificate is 3 months after payment is given.

    False, the license is what you need to get married whereas the certificate is issued after the fact, to prove you are married

    False. Licence is what you sign to make it legal. Certificate is what you get afterwards to show you are married

    False. A marriage certificate shows that the marriage has already taken place. A license is the legal permission to get married.
