Tattoos and make up

G'day all,

I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with using makeup covering up tattoos with make up. I have a tattoo on my shoulder that I'm really not keen on. I am planning on getting it covered up but I don't want it showing, so much that I've been looking at sleeved wedding dresses. However, I'm getting married in July and very prone to overheating so I don't think sleeves would be a good idea...well long ones anyway.

    My friends who did pageants with me had to cover up some of their tattoos. In the end they really showed up in photos and it sweated off after being on Stage for a few minutes. They all purchased heavy coverage concealer/foundations and make up brands that were specifically for covering tattoos but the results weren't great. If you have a professional MUA with experience, their results might be better.

    I have heard good things from these products! Look up some of the reviews if you aren’t sure.
    You could also ask your makeup artist. Mine offers tattoo cover ups, price may depend on how big the tattoo is

    I have a makeup artist that offers coverup of tattoo's it just is very expensive to do it. I would call around to different makeup artists and see products they use to cover it. Mine had offered to show a girl in our wedding party what products to use- we bought them and then went to her for tutorial on how to do it so wouldn't cost arm and leg. Only thing is if you will sweat it off or people touching you might rub it. It depends.
