Tanning - When Should I Start?

I would call a tanning salon and ask them they would be the professionals

I would honestly say it all depends on how well you tan, how often you plan to go, and how long you spend in there. I would start 2 months prior and go less frequently to start then increase it. That way your body gets used to the light before you go all out. Don’t forget to moisturize to prevent wrinkles and use a low SPF sunscreen on your face, ears and and other sensitive areas.

View quoted message They’re a low heeled wedge, I have to break them in still but we are also on the beach so I’m going to get a pair of those foot accessories that connect to your toe just incase. My girls are wanting to get heels for the ceremony since we’re in the gazebo and I’m dreading it for them already haha

Oh that's interesting. Mine are a low block heel sandal so there should be room in case my feet swell. All of our events are on the beach though so I don't mind going barefoot if need be! What are your shoes like?

Probably just Tip Top or something I think they just need dress pants in a navy and then just a crisp white button up dress shirt. So we should be able to buy everything once we go in.


Do you have a backup plan for shoes? I’m worried mine won’t fit right once we’re there due to the heat

Ah I know ! Its actually crazy. All I know is that we have the "Gold Menu" that's it. I don't even know what that means haha. Lucky! I am desperate to get everything else moving. We still have to get my fiancé and his boys their attire, but I'm not too worried for that we still have a lot of time until they need to buy. Oo I didn't think of a cake topper! I think once we finally get to pick a cake I'll get the finer details picked. We are doing place cards for our tables - my little sister learnt how to write in calligraphy just for the wedding so she is writing our cards out!

I feel like I have a million things to do but they all have to do with the resort getting back to me.

Omg they're making you choose everything so last minute! Do you know what your dining style is going to be at least? We got all of our information and choices at the beginning of November and have just been refining them since.
I have all the accessories! All of our decor. I'm really just missing the vow books and our cake topper. What about you?

RIGHT ! I haven't done anything. I had the flu over Christmas so I lost a few pounds there but aside from changing what were eating to be healthier I haven't done anything so I need to get it in gear. I go in for my first round Feb 19th so about 6 1/2 weeks. Thankfully lots of time still but still very stressful.

The only thing we have set in stone is our Photographer with the resort. I have everything picked out and ready but I'm still waiting to have the resort contact me with a coordinator to go through all the details so that sucks. I am dying to find out what the menu is like since we have no information regarding that. They said they would be in contact with us end of Jan - beginning of Feb.

Do you have all your accessories, shoes, etc for you & your bridal party?

We have finalized almost everything with the resort! All we are waiting on is information to extend the event by an hour and that's it. 😁 Have you made all your final selections?

I know exactly what you mean! Planning has taken a whole different meaning at this point. I've added and taken away so many details - Driving myself crazy! I have some nerves but mainly about my dress with alterations beginning. I swear I picked the wrong time of year to get married being so close to Christmas!

You're getting so close!!! 😍 I've been getting facials at a tanning salon and they recommended to start tanning a month before so that I can ease into it. We leave for our wedding trip on April 7th, so I'll start tanning the first week of March!
