Table Cloths

Amanda, on April 28, 2018 at 21:41 Posted in Wedding reception 0 7

I was going to put paper tablecloths but am now being told that we won't be doing that. So looking at buying or renting them. Where did you find yours? Rent or Buy? I am trying to buy need about 50 for 8' tables. Bulk brand new seem super pricey in Canada

I am also not sure if I should get navy or white table cloths. Decor I am thinking is wood cookie, Large navy mason jars (with brown twine across the top), short wide ones with the silver ring still on it and floating candles inside, and a 3rd item to balance it out(up for suggestions on that)

I chose to rent our tablecloths so I didn't have to worry about transporting or steaming them, or trying to sell them afterwards!

We bought ours from efavormart when they were on sale. 8' floor length in a light grey, advertised as $11.00 and there was a code for 15% off the total order. Shipping ended up being $50, and duties from UPS were $38. The total was in US dollars, which I didn't realize until the end of the transaction. The quality of the linen was very impressive.

Tldnr: They ended up being about $18 each with all fees included.

As for colour, if your dress is off white or ivory, I would stay away from stark white. I love the look of white or cream with the navy square on top, but then that means 2 table cloths per table, which can be expensive.

I second this! We bought all of our linen for 10 tables (100 people) for $125 because the people were desperate to get rid of it! And now we can sell it after our wedding so the cost is even less

Renting is so much easier they’ll most likely be cheaper that way and they make sure that they’re not wrinkled or anything. Your centerpieces pieces sound great how you have them maybe a picture would be easier for recommendations. We are using wood cookies as well with mason jars filled with baby’s breath and candles. We’ll also be putting our personalized wine bottles on the table. Maybe you could do a third different sized mason jar or vase?

Rent the table cloths as you woul d need to think about how long it will be kept in your home before its sold. Work with both colours to make the diamond effect overlapping one another. This would be the result.

Check Facebook wedding buy and sells in your area. So many people are selling tablecloths in my local one!

Personally, I like the look of light tablecloths. So if it were me I would go with the white ones and look at getting navy blue napkins.

We’re using a rental company and they’re pretty affordable. You should price compare party rental companies in your area.
