Sweep or cathedral wedding dress?

Mine is a sweep train. I will be dancing all night so the lighter the better!

I love the refined elegance of the cathedral but I want to dance and not take up the whole floor or have kids thinking it was free ride time hahahaI would go as far as chapel but still unsure until I get to try on some dresses at least.

HAHA imagine if you had the royal length?!? Your dress would LITERALLY have taken up half the aisle

I think I was between sweep and court. There was a little bit of a train but it wasn't too overwhelming to bustle! I couldn't imagine doing cathedral length. Our aisle was only 20 ft long so the train would have taken up most of it!

My first wedding to my ex was a cathedral dress and it was very heavy. It was very nice just heavy and needed two people to help me all night. So for this wedding I am thinking of a sweep. I haven't shopped for a dress yet but when is a good time to start looking.

I would choose the sweep because I would be afraid if someone step on my train.

I think mine is somewhere in the middle, because I would DEFINITELY fall on my face tripping over a long one! Plus that's super heacy and annoying to bustle after. So I would prefer more of a sweep
