Surprise wedding!

We are having our stag and doe a year from now and we have decided we want to run it from 3pm to 3am How do entice people to come without telling them our plan ? We are doing it on Oct 27 .... would it be strange to do it as a Halloween party and dress as a bride and groom and a bridal party ? I have so many questions lol like will this work ?

It's a stag with a surprise wedding durring the event and yes next year

The issue with a surprise wedding is that if people can't make it they think they're just missing a stag and doe which is no big deal but if they new it was a wedding they would have made a bigger effort to come. So some people might be upset and you risk spoiling the surprise if you have to tell a close friend you're actually get married and they really should come to the party.
