Suggestions needed! Small wedding - pop-up/elopement style in Ottawa

Hi everyone! I’m new here 😋 My fiancé and I are in the process of planning our wedding. We plan to have a small, intimate wedding with very few family and friends - under 20 people. We aren’t super traditional and want it to be inexpensive yet special with those closest to us. I’m hearing a bit about pop-up wedding packages. Does anyone in Ottawa or the surrounding area have experience in doing something like this? We aren’t interested in spending a fortune but like the idea of keeping some traditions alive. Thanks in advance for any help!

    Hey there! Have you thought any more about your wedding? I love that you want to do something a little different. Have you thought about having a dinner reception in a really good restaurant? That would definitely cut down on the cost of different vendors such as catering, venue, rentals, and decor!

    I havent done it but ive heard of this! you should call a location and see what they offer/how it works and see if its something you want to do!

    Pop up weddings is something new to hear and not aware of what it is.

    Small wedding is possible with the number of guests attending in a public area or city hall. They do seat up to a maximum requirement. An Officiant is also available to marry you two as well with a date booked.
