Style Showdown: Casual or Formal?

Formal! One of my fiancé’s cousins showed up in jeans to his brothers church wedding I couldn’t believe it. I’m gonna be furious if he dares show up in jeans to ours!

Formal but not black tie.

Formal. But this depends on the venue and vibes of the overall wedding.

The guests will be semi-formal (they don't have to wear 3 piece suits but please don't show up in jeans) and the wedding party/parents will be formal.

Formal 😍 not tux and gowns for guests, but I don't want to end up with people in Hawaiian shirts and shorts 😂

I want formal at my, also the causal I have seen is normally jeans. I want it to be formal wear at mine

Formal, I want all my pictures to look nice and everyone look their best. I wouldn't want to stand out too much haha

Formal for us! We are casual every other time of the year! Weddings are so much fun and a great excuse to bust out your best for the day!

Formal! You can be casual every other day. On my wedding day I wanna be fancy and glamorous.

Casual! My dress is short, and the gents aren't wearing jackets. I'm debating if I even want to wear shoes!

I lean more towards formal however I love the casual form attire - so not suits but say dress pants and dress shirt with suspenders. Not a huge fan of the formal black tie events (but once again all personal preference

Semi-formal - my groom wore a black suit, but not a tux, and I'd wanted the guests to dress up but no need for formal gowns or anything, just nice dresses/dress pants and shirts.

Casual but elegant. Fun with room for impromptu. I hate stuffy

Semi-formal with ladies at knee length or below and men with jackets. I've been to "casual" weddings before and was horrified at classless people.

I like a formal ceremony, and a casual reception.

I prefer formal however for our wedding we will be saying semi-casual.
