Style Showdown: Barn or Ballroom?

Ballroom. I like something elegant.

Ballroom.... I love how classy and elegant a grand ballroom looks and gives a wedding that extra sparkle to your magical day

Hard to say... I don't think I could do a "barn" but I do like rustic!! It's so much more cozy than a ballroom, which don't forget is the same place that conferences are held!

Ballroom. I am just not into the rustic thing at all. and I even had a family member that has barn venue I could have used. and didn't because of rustic (and couldn't fit everyone).

Ballroom. Barns are beautiful and rustic, but I have a fear of spiders and other critters that would make me super uncomfortable in that kind of environment for a formal day. Also, in ballrooms you get those gorgeous crystal chandeliers that glitter above you the whole time.

Ballroom. I’m just a sucker for a princess wedding and I feel like barn weddings are a little overdone now

Ballroom. Barns have gotten old, though I could see why someone who has roots in the country or farming would opt for it.

Ballroom, you can definitely personalize with decorations with them. Especially for the cooler months!

A beach destination wedding would be my #1 choice lol.

I would choose ballroom if it could be a modern/industrial ballroom. I really like the one at Parkside Hotel in Victoria, BC (but we preferred another venue for their complete offerings)

We aren't doing barn, but have rented a campground with a big field and will be putting up tents.we are keeping it rustic, lovely, and somewhat simplistic in a beautiful way

I prefer ballroom, but our venue is more barn looking.

If I had to pick from the two, I’d say barn. I have never been a ballroom person. I think it’s hard to show your personality off in a ballroom

Ballroom - I'm honestly over the rustic barn trend.

We have ballroom for our wedding, since it’s gonna be cold still in March and it is the unpredictable weather month. We choose a closed door wedding to make our guest more comfortable and not to worry about the weather.

Ballroom for me, although the barn in the picture is gorgeous and not barn-feely at all! I'd consider that one!

Barn! Our wedding is going to be in an open feild in a small town in New Brunswick! Cannot wait.
