You will find a florist and caterer hopefully soon that will be available to open for your day. It seems with the short notice of the months ahead to come, they could be booked up and if alternative routes of artificial flowers can be useful to use (real look and feel) for the portion of the cost. Restaurants can help to cater to you if personal chefs are not responding lately.

I had the same problem with florists. I would recommend checking out Callia.com. They do wedding flowers across Canada (and they do service Quebec) and they are much more affordable and have great reviews. It's who we ended up going with.

Best of luck with your catering meeting! I've learned that it will all work out in the end, often the perfect vendor comes along after weeks of searching and then they're booked within a day.

I definitely feel you there. I'm stuck on hair and makeup - those I really like are booked and everyone else is crazy expensive! It can totally feel stressful. What are the reasons you're having a hard time with florals and food? Is it finding someone to fit your budget?
