Does anyone have any tips for spray painting? We would like to paint flower pots. Did a sample but it is not even. Any suggestions?

That might have been part of the issue when we tried it; we did the minimum dry time because we were losing daylight. We aren't doing anything at the moment, because it's winter and we don't have a garage to work in, but in the spring, we will try again.

If you're going lines then use painters tape. And as time consuming as it may be give them LOTS of drying time.

Just as you paint the walls, the same applications can be used for painting decor on material on the table or ground. Get styrofoam to hold the stems and then paint inbetween the petals. Hope this helps and goes smoothly.

Lay down some plastic and tape it to the surface you're using. I didn't do this and painted on my driveway a year ago-to this day there's still random markings on it. Also spray painting in the chillier temps (low winds) allows for speedier dry times! Good luck Smiley smile

Hold the can steady and keep a constant swiping motion going. Also hold the can not too close to the object being painted.

Does your local craft store or DIY store offer any classes?

I'd check YouTube. I'm sure some DIY channels will have a tutorial.
