Joey, on September 9, 2019 at 08:05 Posted in Wedding reception 0 22

Between your ceremony and reception, what will be on offer for your guests to enjoy? Cocktails? Hors d'oeuvres? Entertainment?

Saved. My husband had never heard of this so we skipped it. There was a cafe at our venue so people could purchase a snack if needed

    Splurged!

We went with a champagne toast and loads of appetizers for our cocktail hour. I think it was worth it, since we only heard good things.

UMM... well our wedding is a late night wedding where we're only serving cocktails and light drinks... so we're definitely saving.

Our cocktail hour drinks and hors d'oeuvres are included in our venue package as well so... saving? And the DJ does his thing as part of their package as well.

Splurging I guess as it’s part of the F&B minimum. There will be cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres, and our violinist will be staying on from the ceremony to play during cocktail hour.

I would say that would be a save since it was included in our package from the venue.

Not sure, since it is included in our wedding package. I guess we splurged since we went from a limited bar to full bar for the cocktail hour lol

Saving in that it's basically free to us. We already have the venue for it as it's the same for our reception and ceremony. The alcohol is all included in our ceremony price and because we're having a winter, off-season wedding our horderves are free!

Splurging! Our cocktail hour is included in our venue F&B minimum. We are treating our guests to a champagne toast and butler-ed Hors d'oeuvres.

Splurging! Our cocktail hour food is included in our venue pricing. But we did upgrade our package to get a deluxe antipasto bar!

Splurge we got the highest package our venue had because of the antipasto cocktail hour. That being said we opted for a Feb wedding to make it much more affordable

We are saving. We are doing a cash bar to prevent our alcohol dependent family from drinking too heavily. And we are not having a sit down dinner so all night Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Splurge as we are definitely doing this! It’s a big gap between the ceremony and reception so we want to definitely start feeding our guests right away with the antipasto bar!
