For the ones that are not/didn't have a bridal party, what did you do for speeches? We are becoming a blended family and our young men (17, 19 & 20) are standing up with us, but we are not having them do speeches.

Thoughts?

    Right now none of us have written speeches. There doesn't seem to be a huge appetite for doing them at our wedding. At first my fiancee was hoping to have a family member of each side welcome the other, but there are no people on my side of the family very comfortable with making a speech of any description.

    Our children range from 14-26, I know the 2 youngest are not comfortable saying a speech, so I will leave it to the older 2 to decide if they want to. Otherwise it will be my MOH, my FH and myself.

    I do have a friend that mentioned she would like to do one, if she could get up in front of everyone, lol.

    We are giving the option of our bridal party to do a speech. We are also giving the option to any family member who would like to say something.

    My daughter MOH is shy and said she wouldnt do a speech. Will just be the BM, FH and myself.

    Your parents and yourselves arw okay to give the speeches since there is no wedding party involved.

    We had our parents speak and 2 friends speak during speeches on top of our best man and moh
