Hey guys! Any song suggestions for a combined father/daughter, mother/son dance? Neither of our parents are keen on being in the spotlight, so we’ve decided to combine the dances to take the pressure off (they didn’t want to skip it altogether and like this alternative). We’re looking for a song that fits- maybe a good classic? Any suggestions would be great...but maybe not country, since it’s not really our thing.

We danced to Small Bump by Ed Sheeran with our mums. Adele’s Make you feel my love was another contender.

We are doing a combo dance too and we picked Adele’s Make you feel my love. Lyrics make sense mostly for both a parental and romantic love.

I hope you dance by Leanne Womack. It was the song they played at my high school parent grad when they had a father/daughter, mother/son dance

Be Ever Wonderful by Earth Wind & Fire. This is what my dad and I will be dancing to at my wedding. We have a bit of an Earth Wind & Fire theme, though, so this really fits for us. Either way, it's a beautiful song.

A few other suggestions:
Unforgettable - Nat King & Natalie Cole
Lullabye - Billy Joel
Father & Daughter - Paul Simon (maybe not as applicable if both parents will be dancing but still a great song)
