Slideshow or not?

Just wondering whether people are doing slideshows during the reception? I’m thinking maybe after dinner slideshow before our first dance or just have a TV monitor on the guest signing table that cycles through photos of the two of us.. 🤔

We didn't do one as neither of us are fans of it really.
I think the guest book table idea is the best bet.

I’m not doing a slideshow. I think I will just buy one or two digital photo frames and put them on the guestbook table.

The last wedding we went to had a slideshow running before the ceremony, while we waited for it to start. I thought it was nice, but we personally couldn't do it... because we don't have enough pictures of us together! We have so few pictures that we had to get some taken to put on our wedding website, because everything we had had either other people around or Christmas decor.

I like the idea of having a slideshow running at one place in your reception (guest book table sounds like a great idea) or hanging/placing photos around the room! Sounds like a great way to share some special photos while keeping the party flowing.

We decided against it. His family really wanted us to but I really didn't want any embarrassing pictures to end up on it.

I attended a wedding that did that for majority of the evening and felt boring.

Another wedding showed pictures during the cocktail hour and seating before the entrance. That slideshow was nice to see.

I’m not a big fan of the slideshows. I like the idea of having them playing on a tv so people can watch as they like.

Our reception has 4 big screen projectors so we will be baveinf a slideshow during or after dinner.

Yeah that's what I was thinking! And our venue is a rustic Barn so the photos all over go really nice with it

I love that idea! Then it gives people space to wander and view all of the photos. That will look great!

We decided against a slide show, instead we'll just have photos of us, family etc all over. Kind of as decoration. We have these beautiful square pillars so we'll post some on those, have some hanging from strings, table set up with photos. We take LOTS of photos, and growing up my family did too. And I love having photos as memories so we decided to do all that instead of a slideshow.
