Skin treatments

Tegan, on October 6, 2019 at 19:50 Posted in Beauty 0 8
I want my skin to look flawless on our wedding day. Normally have breakouts once a month around my mouth, that I want to avoid all together come wedding time. What skin treatments should I get done before the wedding to prevent breakouts? And when should I get them? (month before? 6weeks?)

I use Clean and clear and it works really well for me! But only this one step - the others dry me out and yet leave me greasy...

Only step one - not 2 or 3

Definitely you know your skin the best. I would suggest make full face cleanup 1 month before, to get out all black heads and then keep follow up at home, with regular face scrubs and Skinceuticals serum blemish+age ( it is about 100 $, but last for long enough), would be a good gift to yourself...and if you would use it for 3-4 weeks you would see amazing skin. And control soft drinks and food, which could cost some pimples.

I would ask a dermatologist. the stuff i use probably wont help you or it might irritate your skin

I'd love to say that eating better and drinking more water was the solution to my skin problems pre-wedding, but it wasn't. I had good intentions but it kind of went to hell due to a) stress and b) lack of will-power due to stress. I was recommended 2 products to use and I found that for me they really turned my skin around*. I cannot tell you how much I swear by these. They worked wonders in about 2 weeks and I still get the occasional breakout, but it's seriously nothing like it was before.

    1. Biotherm Skin Oxygenating Lotion

    2. La Roche-Posay Physiological Ultra-Fine Scrub

Skin treatments 3* I started using these in January for my August wedding.

I found cutting down on dairy helped me not break out as much. Also keeping hydrated and cleaning my face with my regular face wash daily.

I agree with Casey and don't try anything too new close to the wedding. I'm less than 2 weeks now and I won't do anything out of my routine now.

I would do something a couple months out just to make sure you don't break out or have a reaction. I got a deep cleansing facial a couple months before our wedding and then just kept up with regular cleaning.

The girls I work with got me tea tree sheet masks which I started using a month out, and then I did one the night before the wedding and my skin was amazing.! So it really depends on your skin, but don't start too late to avoid a breakout!

It would all depend on your skin type. One thing I can suggest for any skin type is just making sure you drink lots of water. Flush that skin out.
