Silk Flower Bouquets

Jayden, on May 16, 2018 at 11:51 Posted in DIY 0 21
I ordered all my flowers from afloral.com they came in super quick! We ordered pre made bouquets, took out some flowers from bridesmaids and added to mine. To make the base thicker we simply hot glued paper towel underneath the navy ribbon. All flowers done months before wedding - no stress!

How did the shipping work on afloral? I thought it was only to the U.S

Ooooh, what a good trick for making the stems thicker! I love the colors you chose! Do you have a closeup of the bouts? They look cute

I've looked at them before, but I am nervous to order from them because you just never know what you are going to get! I like to be able to see it in person. But honestly, I find the prices at Michael's and other places to be so crazy, that I think it is probably worth taking my chances on afloral.

Yours look wonderful, so it does put my mind at ease about the quality concerns I had. Smiley smile Thanks for sharing! Smiley laugh

It's nice to see so many brides-to-be wanting to use afloral. I honestly thought I was alone since I keep getting weird looks from people when I tell them I'm going with silk flowers.
Your bouquets look amazing! Now I'm super pumped to be ordering from them!!

Very nice! They look great! I'm doing real, but I'll have to remember that site as many people are using silk these days!

They look so pretty! I never thought that you could even order them online - my plan WAS to go to the store and pick some out and glue them together - but now I'm intrigued to see the price difference Smiley smile

Oh totally know exactly how you feel, I was so unsure about it but chose to just take my chances. But ended up very happy with the product.

A big thing for me was the fact that it was more time efficient and a fraction of the cost, as well as we can keep everything after! or even sell it! (my idea is to take all of the flower heads from bouquets and put into a picture frame)

So glad I was able to help. Smiley smile

I’ve been waiting to hear of someone in here who used afloral! I wanted to use it but unsure of quality and all that... you seem happy with them though and they look awesome! Also, thanks for the steaming tip, I’ve never heard that before!

    Thank you Carolyn,

I just used their general silk, they look even more lively and bright in person. My Grandma told me the trick is to steam them over a pot of water the day of to give them a more realistic look (although they look extremely real already).

They look great! The colour balance between the flower colours and the greenery is amazing.
I am considering using Aforal. If you don't mind me asking, did you get their real touch or general silk flowers?
