I just wanna have a fast short wedding . Just have my closest friends and family there with me. And also don't wanna spend an arm and a leg. So have any of yous had (if u can here had a court wedding?) Or a back yard wedding. If so. Please let me know on how much it cost u and where u have it

    That's what I was thinking. Just a backyard wedding . So in that case I would need the marriage certificate first then find a marriage commissioner correct?

    FH's friend had a backyard wedding at their cottage and it ended up costing them approximately $8000. Honestly, I'm not sure where the expense came from since their wedding really felt simple and casual, but that's what it cost!

    It was really lovely and sweet. Definitely felt like a bigger version of their normal parties!

    This is exactly the mantra we had for our wedding. Our wedding ceremony starts at 7:00 pm and last call is at 11:30 pm. The pictures being done beforehand will make our day a few hours longer, but I think it's overall a pretty short and sweet event. Perhaps consider an evening ceremony? We are slightly over budget, but the total cost for our wedding $13,000. Includes hors d'oeuvres and appetizers and alcohol.

    I know 2 of my cousins in the states did and just family dinner following. Cater from Panera Bread to save on cooking and get a small cake for yourselves from a grocery store.

    Search on the net for an officiant and have a backyard wedding which may cost less than a court wedding.
