As all of us are, we have been saving our money for the past year for this wedding. Yes, we have had help in the money department but most of the money is coming from our pay checks. I don't make a ton of money in my field, so I am only able to set aside a certain amount per pay check and let me tell you, every dollar counts.
We decided on having a very small wedding (22 guests), but apparently I have expensive taste. I have done several DIY's to save on money, and cut out certain things like cake, wedding favours, bridal party.
But oh man, literally how I am feeling right now. I just went over my budget again and all of the money we have set aside. I'm thinking to myself what I could do with all that money; buy a new car, pay the rest of my student loan off, have a luxurious 3-4 week vacation somewhere, put a decent deposit on a house.....the list goes on 
Oh, how I am looking forward to the day I get married and can save up for these things. I should have listened to all the people who said to elope!! Haha
