I’m supposed to be getting married in early October and I’m super stressed. Really hoping the upward trend slows down but I’m worried that there might be a jump in numbers and another lockdown. It sucks that I can’t even be excited with my wedding... at this point just want it to happen. Sigh.

We get married in exactly 4 weeks today and I am getting concerned.
I’m trying to keep calm because I feel like I’ve stressed so much already! I think whatever will be, will be and the day will be great regardless!

I’ve noticed that but I’m trying to just keep focused on the wedding and trying not to worry until our venue or the government gives us reason to. There’s been so much bad news and we worried so much already that I’m just focusing that we just have under a month and we’ve just to to make it to then.

My wedding is 2 weeks away and I constantly fear that so much can change in a day, my dad already lives overseas and will be missing the wedding since an outbreak started where he lives just a week ago!! Too late for me to change anything and I know I will recreate the moments with him and I’m not about to risk his life for one day of celebration. Getting his blessing was enough but I’m so devastated regardless! At this point We are getting married either way with a small guest count to begin with but the constant obsession of mine over Covid is driving me nuts! 2 weeks seem so close yet so far away! I can’t wait to be married and put all of this behind us

I'm from NB where are numbers are teeny compared to Ontario, but it's still always in the back of my head. Our province is in the middle of a provincial election (which is total bs during a pandemic) so they won't be making any changes to current border restrictions until mid September at the earliest, on one hand this means we won't have tourists flooding our home with cases but it also means family won't be easily able to come either. I'm hoping that polling stations don't become hot spots for new cases. For months officials have been warning of a second wave coming, likely coming in the fall along with our traditional cold and flu season.


We've already made so many changes, and honestly as long as we can get legally married this year I know that we can worry about the rest later. But it sucks to think that our backup plan could get derailed by people being careless.
