We sent out the invitations - I know it was early but I wanted to get things moving. We are now looking at the decor and gifts as well as the not sure fun transportation. We are getting there I feel like we have checked off a lot but there is still more to do!

Yayyyyyyyy thats so exciting!! we have just under 6 months! im so excited. were pretty much done everything so im bored until we send out invitations lOL!

Time flies by and how is your list of things to do looking now? I know when it was this time for us, I was getting replies back as the RSVP was 6 months ahead of the date and the small items were still being ordered online and rentals were looked into for the concept to complete the décor.

For us, it's less about the amount of time left for the planning but more with getting a jump start on securing our must haves. Despite our date in low season, we're competing with a lot of holiday and corporate bookings. So we're planning like our event is happening in April despite not needing to execute until December.

Our wedding is Sept 2021 and we already have our venue, catering and day of coordinator booked! We actually haven’t officially gotten engaged yet 😂 that’s happening in just a few weeks (so excited I could cry). We wanted to wait until our vacation to Nashville because we want to get engaged in a certain spot, but since the engagement is planned we figured we’d get a head start on wedding planning! Lol. Only problem is I’m dying to tell everyone about our venue etc but nobody knows we’re getting married yet!!

Ours is in October! I had a moment at the beginning of the month where it hit me that we have only 8 months left!!


We're working on invitations soon. A pop up accessories sale with some girlfriends in March and decor shopping in the states with Mom in April. I'm trying to Pace myself so that I can enjoy the engagement and all the planning.
