Second dress for the wedding party

Kira, on August 25, 2016 at 01:05 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 17

Hi ladies! I was wondering if you will get changed into a different dress for the wedding party or if you will keep your wedding dress on? I'm thinking of getting changed at some point and wear a cocktail dress. I looked at different dress styles and here are a few a liked, I'm going for something chic and sexy. I'm just wondering if one would be more appropriate for a wedding.

Which on is your favourite for a wedding party?

I am keeping my wedding gown on the whole night.

I really like the last dress.

    Hi Amanda Smiley heart

I'm glad you already found a wedding dress! Smiley love Will it also go with your country theme?

I'd love to see the type of dress you went for! Will it be long, short, with rhinestones, there are so many different types of dresses.

I made this discussion last week, which is basically: if you could choose every single aspect about your dress, how would it look like? You could have a look and tell us how your ideal dress compares with your wedding dress. Smiley smile

You can also take this test to find the perfect accessories to go with the dress you chose.

How did you like the idea of the blue wedding dress?

Glad I found this - because when I went to try my dress on and told them my budget they said "you should just get two dresses" (because my dress was much less than I anticipated). This is something that I didn't know people did - but seems like an interesting idea. However, I have decided that I want to wear my dress as long as possible...so I am just going to leave it on for the entire day.

BUT - I REALLY love the second photo you posted, super sexy and chic (like you said), and still has a bit of a bridal feel. I think it has a real "wedding party time" feel to it. Smiley smile

Thanks for your feedback Alice & Daniel! It's also an option I'm considering, I've been looking at a few dresses but very few seem enough classy or bridal so I'm also thinking of just wearing my dress

Personally, I will be wearing my wedding dress for the whole day. But if I was wearing a second dress for the wedding, I would choose #2, as it is very classy for a wedding reception.

That's exactly what I was wondering! I was looking at different dresses and was wondering if I should choose something white to look more "bridal". I guess number 2 wins and should keep a white, elegant look. Thanks for your help! Smiley smile I'll definitely have a look at these discussions!

The first one is really sexy, if you're going for a more elegant look i'd go for 2, 3, or 4.
