Brandi, on November 13, 2019 at 13:23 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 6
ISO wedding services and tips for my wedding which is to take place, midday September 20th. With approximately 40 guests and a relaxed rustic theme.
I especially need:
• An officiant ( Non-religious style ceremony)
• Venue (ideally in the county? Eg. barn, outdoor space.)
• Photographer
• Caterer ( for brunch/ breakfast buffet, eggs, pancakes, fruit etc.)
Any help is appreciated!!

Hey Brandi! Welcome to the WeddingWire community!!

Have you checked out any national parks in your area that may allow events to be held there?

Unfortunately it seems as though many of the most affordable places aren't listed ( at least from my area) they only list the venues that are over 5k Smiley sad

Officiants: I recommend all-season weddings! One of their officiants did ours (Brenda in London) and it was exactly what we wanted!

Venue: I know around London there are some barns that are rented out for weddings, may be the same in your area! Also try searching Venues on Wedding Wire

Photographer: Again, you can search: Vendors on Wedding Wire this also works for officiants/catering

Catering: some venues might provide catering so I'd hold off until you get a venue. If your venue doesn't have catering, you can search that on Wedding Wire as well.

    Love the colors!

There was recently a thread about officiants in Ontario, apparently they're a bit hard to find but someone recommended having a legal ceremony at the court house and then a symbolic ceremony in front of friends and family that can be "performed" by a friend or loved one.

Vendors can quote you the best price they can give as the lowest possible.
    1. Get a family member or friend to go online for the officiant license to save the money to spend on an actual one.
    2. Potluck reception is a better way to cut out the caterer or limited buffet options.3. Venue wise, farms also do weddings and not sure about china and glassware.4. Photographer can be asked by someone you know if they don't mind doing it for you since professionals charge $1000 - $2800 for day event 5. LCBO liquor license ocassion for 1 day can be obtained online and shown to the store to buy as required.6. Music wise, creating a playlist can save you time and money as a DJ wouldn't be needed for their services.
These fsctors may help to cut costs where needed to make your wedding work.
