You want savings!!!!! I hope these tips help you when getting ideas.

Online sites: Amazon and ebay are perfect sites for purchasing what you need and looking for price wise compared to regular retail pricing.

Rentals: Wedding gowns for 1 day saves thousands of dollars as to purchasing one. Centerpieces and floral go the same as I had spent less than $15 per table with no storage at home to sell after the wedding. Backdrop was also cheaper and easy to put together within minutes as it was to tear down for return.

DIY/Home printing: Any printing do to at home will save you tons than having to go with a company charging per sheet. I had done all my welcome information this way and copy/paste the map of the venue for the guests to know what is located at particular spots and wedding day too. Heaven note was also created for the gift table kept with the guest book. Wedding programs were printed on heavier paper for better use as fans.

Family & Friends: Ask anyone you know close if there is something that can be borrowed for your day instead of going out and buying it avoiding that extra cost. We were given a knife/server set by a friend not being used and brand new in its box.

Congrats on the engagement! Hopefully we can help you here in the WW community!

I think that most of us on here don't have a wedding planner so you've come to the right place. For the most part the cost saving items tend to be DIY stuff but don't go full throttle on that as I've heard that there have been things that end up being cheaper if you hire somebody to do it for you.

I don't have a wedding planner either! Smiley smile Its fun to make all of the little detail decisions! my advice for you would be to take things slow.. don't rush yourself to make any big decisions. do your research, read reviews and DIY whatever your heart desires! Congrats on the engagement!!
