I think I want to try to do the "pencil us in" idea. I'm going to make the invite myself so I'll see what happens. Because I want to book Hotel blocks and let people know at this time, I have to wait until about 11 months before the wedding to send them out. The hotel I'm interested in booking with won't let me book the block earlier than a year out.

Our wedding is September of 2019 and we will send out our save-the-dates this September. I will be sending them electronically by email except for a select few (parents, grandparents, etc.).

We're planning to send ours out in September for our August 2019 wedding.

I have some ideas from Vistaprint, I really like the magnetic ones. I'll be sending them out about 8 months before the wedding so I still have lots of time. Thinking about by February 2019 for our wedding in October 2019

We are sending them out mid to late June.

To be the 10 - 12 month mark is perfect timing and then the invites between 3 - 4 months.

We just found a template online and sent that to people. We sent them out in January/February for our September wedding.

We’re sending them out at the end of May 2018 for our April 2019 wedding.

We did ours electronically through paperlesspost.com. We sent them out the beginning of October for our July wedding. I would've liked to have gotten them out sooner, but our engagement was only a couple weeks before!

I thought I had saved a copy of it, but I can't find it. We just had a picture of us, "We're getting married" followed by the date, the city, and "invitation to follow"

I sent them out two years in advance, but only because I have family in England and wanted them to have time to save up for the expensive trip
